no idea
I have absolutely no idea what this is a picture of; it sort of appeared on my camera when I was taking some shots on the way up to Devil's Dyke this afternoon.

mother's day
Here's my beautiful son Liam, the reason I can participate in Mother's Day, a day that marks motherhood and dates back to ancient Greece. Although I'm sure there weren't as many cards and bunches of flowers sold back then. Liam and I went into Brighton yesterday and there was a shopping frenzy going on, not unlike Christmas. On Mother's Day this year in the US, $671m was spent on cards.

cassettes
There are a few of these graffiti junction boxes around Brighton. They all seem to have cassettes painted on them and are more interesting than the usual green ones which are a bit ugly. Cassettes (for anyone born after about 1995) were the media of necessity, for anyone who was a teenager in the early 80's, to record the Top 40 singles off the radio on a Sunday night :)
